Judith SchreiberMy name is Judith Schreiber, and I am an independent insurance broker in San Diego County. My primary focus is serving clients who are eligible for Medicare. My passion is educating individuals and groups on available healthcare choices, and helping them find the plan that is the best fit for their unique needs and budgets.

There are over fifty Medicare plans in San Diego County. Insurance companies must meet basic Medicare requirements; companies may provide different additional benefits to address special needs within those requirements. By working with several companies that offer Medicare supplement (Medigap), Medicare advantage, and Part D insurance, I am able to offer the best education and the most choices. In addition to Medicare, I also work with individual and family health insurance plans.

When starting with a new potential client, I usually meet people in their home and provide an evaluation. There is no fee or obligation: if and when an insurance plan is selected, the insurance company pays for the service.

Of course, the challenges do not end there! Each year, companies may add or delete plan offerings and/or change costs of plans. Health care needs may change and different benefits may become a priority.

In dealing with the dynamic nature of insurance, I encourage my clients and their families to contact me with questions and concerns throughout the year. I also follow up with clients on occasion to make sure that everything is as it should be, and to remind them of my availability should occasion arise. Please, call me!

“I was referred to Judy when I had lost my Medicare Advantage plan. She got the plan restored retroactively. I was truly amazed; having myself failed in two attempts, I did not have much hope. Judy has the patience of Job!” Ida Maxey, Oceanside, CA
