I am a long term care specialist and a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys. As a specialist, I consult with and advise employers, insurance agents and financial planners about long term care issues. As an experienced Elder Law Attorney, I help individuals plan for care needs by providing advice and direction for funding the cost of preferred care settings and by making sure a written long term care plan is in place.
In addition to the planning, I work closely with long term care insurance and estate planning experts.
I come to you with 20 years of practice as an attorney and with a background
as a registered nurse. I have five years experience in retirement planning
and financial services. I have a BA degree in Education from Florida Atlantic University, a R.N. Degree from Valencia Community College in Orlando, Florida, and a Juris Doctorate Degree in law from Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, Georgia, and I am licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia.
In my Elder Law practice I so often see people who are trying to help a loved one, perhaps a parent, and do not know where to turn for the help they need. Along with the other financial planners that I work with and in combination with National Association of Elder Law Attorneys nationally, I can help you sort out your options, and put a plan in place that will work for you and your loved ones.
