About Liliya

Liliya Peterson's experience in the geriatric field started in the Spring of 1997 when upon her entrance at Fresno State University for her Bachelor's in Health Sciences, minoring in Gerontology. Within the same year she also entered the geriatric field hands for a hands-on experience working at the residential care facilities for the elderly (Arbor Village/Hacienda) assisted living facility in Fresno, CA. She also completed the RCFE Course and obtained an RCFE Administration License, Gerontological Certification and training at Memory Center (1997-2001).

After earning her Bachelor's in Health Sciences Degree in 2001, she accepted a position in a smaller RCFE (same RCFE later became Khachatryan Home) serving developmentally disabled older adults as their administrator and also assisted a few more RCFE's in opening, marketing the facilities and receiving vendorization services for increased level of care, applied for various programs, and trained RCFE's owners and employees. Liliya also continued to obtain RCFE education units every year.

In 2006 Liliya moved to Marin County, Northern CA, working at the Adult Day Health Center (DBA "Your Health") as a social worker. She later became the center's Program Director, overseeing the program with an average daily attendance of 165 participants, the diverse older adult population and developmentally disabled young adults (18-59). During her time working there, she also earned her Master's Degree in Gerontology, completing a 480-hour LTCA Internship with the Kindred Care Rehabilitation Center (2008-2010).

From 2011 to 2014, Liliya served the community of older adults in Napa Valley, CA (Healthy Minds-Healthy Aging Program, Program Coordinator and Case Manager) daily addressing mental health needs as prevention and early intervention mental health services (PEI).

Such a desirable degree and 18 years of experience working within healthcare continuum provides Liliya with a complete LTC continuum of care knowledge, experience, and expertise.
