Synergy HomeCareSynergy HomeCare, the most trusted name in non-medical home care, stands out from the rest because we truly care about the people to whom we provide service. We can work with anyone from newborns to the elderly. Synergy Westerville offers a full range of managed home care options-everything from newborn care to companionship and safety supervision for memory loss, to personal attendance and assistance with daily living activities. We can assist with providing sitters in assisted living facilities, hospitals, and one-on-one care within a facility or home. We understand the importance of both immediate and long distance care. If you're currently shopping around, be sure to read our questions to ask your non-medical home care provider.

Immediate Care For You or a Loved One
The need for home care can come at any time of the day or night. Since we're committed to providing non-medical home care to anyone in need, we can give you our guarantee that we will be out to visit you within two hours-not days-of your call if requested. The services that you need can also start on the very same day if that is what you need. Becoming a client is a simple three-step process absent of contracts or messy paperwork!

Long Distance Care For Mom and Dad
When cars began replacing horse-drawn carriages in the early 1900's as the common form of transportation, families gradually started moving away from their hometowns. Nowadays, it is not uncommon for children and their parents to live on the opposite sides of the country. But, just because you are miles away from your loved ones doesn't mean that you can't help with their care. At Synergy HomeCare, you can be a part of our careTEAM. Our caregivers can take care of your loved one, and you can participate in that care by:

  • Viewing their caregiver schedule online via our web-based system
  • Receive weekly or even daily calls as to how your loved one is doing
  • It doesn't matter where you call home

Synergy HomeCare can provide local and long distance service to you or a loved one wherever you may call home such as an assisted living facility (nursing home), hospice or hospital. Often times, you or a loved one don't need to be in one of these facilities and a caregiver can allow you or a loved one to return to the comfort of your own home!

Additional services: We now provide Internet face to face videos and conversations with loved ones whose physical distance is too great to personally visit. We also have a handyman on staff who provides repair services to our clients.

 about me

Barbara Hawley is no stranger to the entrepreneurial world. For nearly 15 years, Barbara has owned a variety of consulting businesses specializing in business management and efficiency. She enjoyed the work she was doing and had no plans to retire so Barbara began looking for a new concept that would complement her existing usiness, BH Consulting, and also have a positive impact on the community. After six months of working with a business broker, Barbara found her match in Synergy HomeCare.

"I considered a variety of options but Synergy appealed to me because I would be providing local residents with a much-needed service," said Barbara, 61, who also holds a Ph.D. in psychology. "Baby Boomers are aging every day and are going to be in need of additional assistance in the coming years. As a Boomer myself, I wanted to start this business not only to aid them but to also aid their children, many of whom that currently serve as their parents' sole caretakers."
