About Shervonne E. Banks

Shervonne E. Banks, MSG is the lead Gerontologist and Geriatric Care Manager (GCM) for Caregiver's Corner LLC. She specializes in Hospital to Community Discharge Planning, Community Agency Consulting, and Care Setting Placement.

In addition to being a Gerontologist, Shervonne currently serves as a local municipal leader for an innovative locality and has served numerous years as an Adult Protective Services Investigator.

Ms. Banks received her Master's degree in Gerontology from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Gerontology.

Ms. Banks chairs and serves on several boards and commissions including the Newport News Task Force on Aging, Alcohol Aging and Awareness Group, Geriatric Interagency and Hoarding Task Force (GITF), Generations United International Organization (GU), National Wrap around Initiative (NWI), and the American Geriatric Society (AGS).

She also served in the following capacities: Expert Witness in civil litigation regarding elder advocacy issues, Care Coordinator, service Facilitator, and Applied Gerontologist for corporate, community, and facility based care settings.
