George G. Glenner Alzheimer's Family Centers, Inc. ® provide specialized adult day programs for seniors with Alzheimer's and other forms of memory impairment diseases.

The first in the nation of this kind and still the only non-profit, dementia specific adult day health care program in San Diego, the George G. Glenner Alzheimer's Family Centers, Inc. ® offer structured, therapeutic activities and socialization in a safe, secure, family-like environment.

Their day programs allow your loved one to remain living at home longer while receiving exceptional care during the day. Their highly-trained staff boasts decades of experience working with individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia. They understand the enormous stress that accompanies the role of a family caregiver and the progressive impact memory loss has on the entire family.

Each center is staffed with an RN during operating hours and the staff to participant ratio is 5:1. The George G. Glenner Alzheimer's Family Centers, Inc. also offer several support groups throughout the county for caregivers of loved ones with dementia. There is no cost to participate and most offer free respite care while you attend the group.
