L. Jean Berry, P.A.
Jean Berry concentrates her practice in elder law, including wills, trusts, incapacity planning, asset protection planning (Medicaid), probate, and trust and estate administration.
Jean Berry has been admitted to practice in Illinois and Florida. She initially concentrated her practice in the area of taxation with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. She practiced in the corporate world and had a distinguished business career, culminating with the position of Vice President-Taxes for a Fortune 100 $10 billion Chicago company, UAL, Inc., which was then the parent company of United Airlines, Westin Hotels, Hertz Rental Cars, and Hilton International Hotels. After leaving the corporate world and moving to Florida, she entered the private practice of law, developing an interest in and concentrating her practice in issues relevant to seniors and their families. Her interest in this area of law reflected the difficulties of her grandmother and aunt's struggles with Alzheimers and the impact on other family members.
