Gina is a designated SRES, Seniors' Real Estate Specialist, and understands the emotional and financial needs of seniors and their families. This includes 50+ active and healthy clientele looking to change home styles as well as the more elderly and frail in need of assisted living services. Gina is well versed in Assisted Living VA benefits as well as Medicaid benefits, and has a team of people to provide appropriate resources when needed.
Gina is currently a team lead of a group of realtors who are comitted to providing financial care, comfort and stability to their Senior clientele, keeping in mid the emotional needs of the clients as well as their families.
As a Certified Senior Housing Professional (CSHP), with a Senior Real Estate division to help senior/ elderly housing transitions, our goal is to facilitate our clients' transitions into their mature years. Our housing goal is to help clients age in place, which could be "staying put" in existing housing, selling the home to downsize (rightsize) to a better floor-plan, or helping with a move into an assisted living community using our placement service.
Reviewing each situation in a holistic way includes considering the best options for all, while taking into account health and mobility issues. If there are financial challenges, we would also consider the use of reverse mortgages to help a client age in place or if a move is needed after a home sale, and there is enough equity from the sale, we might recommend a reverse mortgage purchase.
Our Mature Living seminar series and podcast series (coming soon) allows us to be the premier resource for care giving and medical options to help a senior age in place, including information on vetted companies for private care, home health & hospice as well as adult day-care and respite services. When our clients can no longer remain at home, we provide placement services and information for assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and independent living communities. We offer downsizing help, estate liquidations and move management.
Our Senior division is also a resource for information on obtaining VA Aid & Attendance Pension benefits, Elder law (wills, trusts and legal guardianship), Medicaid Planning issues, Long Term Care Insurance, and anything Mature Living related, including counseling through this transitional phase.
